MEET JEREMY NORTON:

Jeremy Norton :
Jeremy is a newcomer to decoying, having been introduced to working dogs on Thanksgiving Day, 2003, when Alex Vyatkin at Red Star Kennel asked, ‘Are you afraid of dogs? No? Good. Put this suit on and run at that dog...’ After catching presas almost exclusively with Alex and then Irina, Jeremy learned there were fast, skinny, needle-nosed dogs out there, as well. He has been a PSA trial decoy and now primarily focuses on Mondio, training with Midwest Ringsport and affiliates, Michael Ellis, and pretty much anyone who asks. He has been fortunate to work with and learn from skilled and generous trainers, handlers, dogs and decoys, and–for an old guy–has made decent progress.
When not sweating on dogs, Jeremy is a firefighter in Minneapolis. He is actively trying to trick his daughters into becoming dog handlers. Jeremy considers decoying at this championship to be a great honor and pleasure.
